When do I need to be at the venue?

Answer

Please be at the venue no later than 6:15pm. Late parties will not be permitted to the ceremony. If you are staying at the hotel, transportation will be provided.

What do I do if I’m late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 6:30pm. We recommend guest arrive between 6:00pm - 6:15pm so there is time to mingle and find seats. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will have you wait. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the receptions so hang tight and we will see you at the receptions. Thank you for understanding!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from the hotel to Tappen Hill and back to the hotel at the end of the night.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If it is specifically indicated on your envelope, then you have a plus one. For example, your envelope would list “(your name) & Guest”. For families it will say “The (your name) Family”.

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone’s children. If your children are invited, it will be indicated on your invitation. For example, you will see “The (your name) Family”.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is formal. We recommend suit and tie, cocktail dresses, or full length gowns. Also, prepare for April weather in New York.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors if weather permits. Cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Can we take photos on a phone or camera during the ceremony?

Answer

No! We’ve hired a photographer to capture our day and ask that you fully unplug during the ceremony. Use of phones and cameras can block our amazing photographer and videographer from capturing our special moment.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes, the hotel bar will be open until 1:30am for late night drinks.
