Maid of Honor
Lydia Joy was a long awaited sister for Caitlin, she came along after three brothers (followed by a fourth brother). Even though she now lives in northwest Arkansas Caitlin and Lydia Joy talk several times a week and they enjoy traveling together regularly.
Riley Lawson
Best Man
The younger brother of the groom, Riley is an avid wildlife biologist who specializes in birds of prey like Owls and Goshawks. He is currently a graduate student at Oklahoma State University, working toward a Master's degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management. You can usually find him watching soccer, drinking lattes, eating burritos at Chipotle, and talking about his next trip to the west coast.
Amanda Yuen
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Caitlin met during freshman year of high school and have remained close ever since. They have taken many trips together, but also enjoy going out for dinner, checking out local events, or just keeping each other company while running errands.
Ben Lawson
Groomsman
Older Brother of the groom. Ben teaches History at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and lives in the Fort Smith area with his wife Aihua. Ben and Dave spent their youth being ultra-competitive about everything, though they're not as competitive now.
Leah Olson
Bridesmaid
Leah and Caitlin connected in college and have made sure to stay in touch, even when life gets busy. They have traveled together multiple times since graduating from JBU and every time they meet up or talk on the phone it’s seems like they still live down the hall from each other rather than across the country.
Justin Lane
Groomsman
Friend of groom. Justin teaches English (obviously the best subject) in the Fort Worth area. He lives with his wife Courtney and their pups Link and Zelda, though Dave is adamant that Link is actually his. Justin has the distinct honor of being the shortest groomsman, and also the groomsman who lives the closest to a Buc-ee’s. Seriously, Buc-ee’s is amazing.
Katie Sawicki
Bridesmaid
Katie and Caitlin met when they were both working at Gilcrease Museum and bonded over being two of the youngest employees. Since then they have both moved on to other jobs, but they regularly get dinner, go to shows, movies, and other local events, or dress up for fancy fundraisers supporting local non-profits. One of their favorite traditions is to get together before Christmas for a baking day.

Brother of bride, Taggert is an intrepid bicycle guru and a grill master. He enjoys Cheez-Its and cooks a mean Alfredo. Dave, somewhat shockingly, met Taggert through Caitlin, and they’ve bonded over complaining about Caitlin hiding the good snacks.

Vesper is the bride’s niece through her brother Burns.
