We're Getting Married!

We met as kids 20 years ago. We were inseparable for the first 4 years. Our paths went different ways and we saw each other again 5 years later. Our eyes locked just for a second and it was magical. This was when we understood, there is nothing more surreal in the world than marrying your childhood sweetheart. We promised to infinity and beyond. Nos conocimos como niños hace 20 años. Fuimos inseparables durante los primeros 4 años. Nuestros caminos fueron diferentes y nos volvimos a ver 5 años después. Nuestros ojos se encontraron por un momento y fue mágico. Allí entendimos que no hay nada más surrealista en el mundo que casarse con nuestro amor de la infancia. Prometimos amarnos hasta el infinito y más allá.

On the anniversary of when we first became a couple, we went back to the beach where he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were watching the sunset, feeling the nice breeze of the waves. He asked me to look up as if I was making a wish upon the sky. As I looked down, he was in one knee and asked, “Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?” I said "YES!" And we were engaged. Mightier than the waves at sea, is our love for each other. We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter in our lives. En el aniversario de cuando nos convertimos novios, volvimos a la playa donde me pidió que fuera su novia. Estábamos viendo la puesta de sol, sintiendo la agradable brisa de las olas del mar. Me pidió que levantara la vista como si estuviera pidiendo un deseo al cielo. Mientras miraba hacia abajo, él estaba en una rodilla y preguntó: "¿Quieres pasar el resto de tu vida conmigo?" Y dije que "SI!" Y estábamos comprometidos. Más poderoso que las olas en el mar, es nuestro amor. Estamos muy emocionados de celebrar este nuevo capítulo en nuestras vidas.
