I had a final the next day and so did Lauren. I was trying my hardest to study but darn'it I could not get that lovely land mermaid out of my mind! So I texted her: "Go on a study break date with me. I'll have you back by 10:00" "Wait... a real date?" "Yes" After the longest 5 minutes of my life: "Make it 9:30 and its a date!" So I picked her up, she was looking stunning (as always) and we went to the Whales Rib in Deerfield Beach. After some beers and a fish dip we walked down the boardwalk and smiled the whole way.

+ Plan to stay over at Mark and Ellen’s for a brunch the next morning, so we pack an overnight bag. + None of our friends can hang out today? Let’s go to the beach! 11:00am Drive to Mark and Ellen’s, drop off Thor, bike to the beach. 12:00pm Go to eat a light lunch at Flannigans. After lunch, have a few drinks on the beach while soaking up the sun 2:00pm Nathan and Amanda call Lauren: “Hey girl, our dog is sick and we can’t make the dinner reservation” JB’s on the Beach for 5:00pm. We say “of course!” 2:30 Bike back to Mark and Ellen’s, grab the car and go home to shower and change. Decide on-the-fly, we haven’t had a nice dinner in too long, let's really dress up and look nice! Hair, makeup, the works! 5:00pm Get to the restaurant for the reservation. 6:15pm Finish dinner, decide it’s so nice out, let's go for a walk on the beach. Drive to the South end of Hillsboro beach to socially distance. 6:30pm Start the walk, begin the speech casually. Approach the spot where the photographer and drone videographer are waiting Propose! 7:00pm Afterwards, get in the car, drive to the last surprise, beachfront embassy suites and check in. Have a lovely night of drinks and cake then video call everyone and their mother tomorrow
