Founded in 1905 by Ben Schrader and a group of local tavern owners and grocers, the original Falls City was formed to fight a big beer takeover in Louisville. In 1906, Otto Doerr was hired as our first brew master and our beer soon began appearing in local taverns. Our 12 acre property allows you the ability to feel immersed in nature, but still be within a couple miles of the expressway, and all that the city has to offer. We give couples the ability to host all of your wedding festivities in one location, taking the stress out of planning & hopping around town. We have 4 ceremony sites, a 2 acre pond, a 10,000 sq ft event center and 11 rental units that can accommodate up to 65 of your family & friends on site. When hosting guests on property with you, it allows you the ability to spend more quality time with those that traveled to enjoy your special day and extend that special day into the next morning. Tables & chairs come with your rental. We have a set for the ceremony and another set for the reception, so need to move any around. We have an open vendor policy and do not charge a facility fee.
