Built in the middle 1948 from timber on the property. This cabin is made from hand hued logs and hand mixed concrete for the foundation. In the early 60s Lyman Winfrey bought the cabin and moved his family from the city of Spirit Lake to the cabin. In 2008 the Winfrey family remodeled the cabin to add better heating, new flooring, and more. In 2020 the Winfrey’s made more updates to host the wedding of their daughter, updating the landscape and other amenities. We know you will fall in love with the quiet and calm ambience of the wooded property that has hosted some of our family's most special occasions and casual weekend retreats.
