Acres Landing

Desert Hot Springs, CA

4.7

Acres Landing / to getaway and gather for sanctuary and celebrations! One of the best things about Acres Landing is that you can have your event past 10pm outdoors, which is something that is very difficult to find in Palm Springs proper!  Music can officially be played at our venue until 12am; we just have to turn off any outdoor speakers at 10pm.  With the back doors of our small Clubhouse open to the venue, the volume in our imagined dancing space, the Pavilion, is full event volume!  Bands can go until 10pm, and DJs can go until 12am.  We have no cap on the amount of pieces you can have in a band. We require a buyout of our amazing vintage campers, along with a venue fee.

FAQs about wedding venues in California

Wedding venues in California typically range from around $3,800 to $9,500, with a median price of around $6,700. For a 100-guest wedding, venues generally represent around $7,500 of your total budget. Costs vary significantly depending on location, season, and venue style throughout the state.

Consider your guest count, preferred wedding date, and budget when narrowing options. Think about venue style—whether you want a beachside celebration, garden setting, or urban space. Visit venues in person to assess lighting, acoustics, and amenities. Review what's included in their pricing and check availability for your desired date. Read reviews and photos from other couples to envision your celebration.

Book your venue as early as possible, ideally 6 to 12 months in advance, especially if you're planning a wedding during peak season (May through October). Popular venues fill quickly during these months. Booking earlier gives you more choices and may offer better availability for your preferred date and time.

Yes, costs vary significantly across California. San Francisco is the priciest area, while Bakersfield offers the least expensive options, with roughly a 74% difference in pricing between them.
