An homage to a pattern first introduced 250 years ago and still available today, the Old Luxembourg décor pattern dates back to the 18th century. Starting in 1768 when the Boch brothers used the Brindille, a hand-painted delicate branch, on fine stoneware dishes in their factory in Septfontaines, Luxembourg. Old Luxembourg features the classic porcelain color scheme of deep cobalt blue on white. Newly designed, Old Luxembourg Brindille features the same blue floral branch motif enlarged in a bolder, contemporary style. The traditional form and decoration has been reinterpreted and adapted into a modern design. Available in blue and white like the original, and accents available with the inverse of white décor on deep blue. This modern take on the floral branch motif offers a classic look, reimagined. Old Luxembourg Brindille is a premium porcelain collection, decorated using the lithographic technique. All items in the collection are dishwasher and microwave-safe and therefore, made for everyday enjoyment. Made in Germany.
