Care Instructions: Heat-resistant and oven safe (with or without lid) to 1000 F. Dishwasher safe. Bristle brush is recommended for everyday cleaning of interior (to get into texture). Compatible with gas, electric, induction, and ceramic cooktops - avoid dragging it across surfaces to prevent scratches. Interior is metal utensils safe; a soft sponge is recommended for the exterior to avoid scratches. Use caution with extreme temperature changes - ex. avoid dunking in cold water straight from oven or stove. Wipe away spills from the outside before they have the chance to burn - honor the fact that your pan will patina over time! *Note: can use bar keeper’s friend or baking soda vinegar paste to clean exterior. Not microwave safe. Be careful! As with all cookware, use Hot mitts or Hot Grips and care to prevent injury. Allow to fully cool before washing. Need an easier way to clean any caramelization or stuck on bits from your pan? Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and scrub the interior or simply deglaze by boiling water with a tablespoon of baking soda on the stovetop. Long handle is constructed to minimize heat transfer, but is metal, so may become hot during prolonged cooking or from radiant stovetop heat. Use caution when removing lids or touching handles. Use oven mitts or our hot grips as necessary. How to Use / Tips + Tricks: Preheat your pan for 90 seconds before adding a teaspoon of high smoke point oil. Coat your pan’s interior surface with at least a teaspoon of oil before cooking (more if fine if desired). The oil helps to kickstart the nonstick effect. Note: Once you reach temperature, reduce your heat to help avoid burning food and maximizing the easy-release properties.
