With so much beauty to be seen in Iceland and the Faroe Islands, we don't want to miss a thing! We'll use binoculars to see rare birds, whales, and other wildlife amongst the incredible scenery.

Two sea stacks, knows collectively as Drangarnir, make up this jaw-dropping viewpoint. Because of it's remote location (and the temperamental weather on the Faroe Islands), visitors are only allowed to hike Drangarnir with a local guide. We can't wait to see the beautiful landscapes here!

On the island of Mykines we're excited to hike to a beautiful lighthouse with a view of the whole island behind it, and for the opportunity to see thousands of puffins which are only on the islands during the summer months for breeding season.

Who knew Iceland was famous for their hot dogs!? We're excited to try some from this small and quirky hot dog cart in Reykjavik.

The Faroese phrase “heimablídni” translates directly as “home hospitality”. On our honeymoon we can enjoy an authentic and intimate dining experience in the home of a local. In addition to being served traditional homemade Faroese food, we will also hear interesting stories that relate to that particular part of the country or village.

We're so excited to visit the island of Kalsoy and hike to the Kallur Lighthouse. Along the way we'll also visit the haunting and beautiful sculpture in the sea of "Seal Woman", famous for her legends on the islands. Funny enough, several scenes from the latest James Bond movie were filmed on this very island! Connor is excited about that. :)

Dill is a Michelin-star restaurant in Iceland that specializes in traditional Icelandic methods alongside modern techniques to produce a multi-course menu of creative dishes – and they’re served and explained by the chefs themselves. We love a gourmet dining experience and can't wait to see what Iceland has to offer.

Mikkeller is a popular Danish craft brewery with a location in the Faroe Islands (that just so happens to be inside a 500-year-old house in the small capital village of Torshavn). Their taps are flown in from Denmark regularly so the beer is always fresh. Maybe Zoe's love of beer can begin here... ;)

Because we're visiting Iceland near the summer solstice, we have the unique opportunity to go whale watching at sunset, which just so happens to be at midnight. Magical!

Iceland is known for it's hot springs and we are SO excited to kick off our honeymoon with a visit to the Blue Lagoon Retreat Spa! Two thousand meters within the earth, ocean water and freshwater converge in a tectonic realm of searing heat and extreme pressure, creating geothermal seawater with healing, rejuvenating, and nourishing abilities.
