Willow chose the Humane Society International because they do all kinds of great work to help animals in need *all over the world*. They spay/neuter and provide medical services for strays (something that Willow wishes she could do every time she travels), they help to rescue animals after natural disasters, and the fight to end animal abuse and mistreatment wherever it's happening. They're a large, well established organization with a very wide reach.

As many of you may know, my mother, Ann Early, passed away due to complications related to Alzheimer's disease in 2009. Alzheimer's Association is a large nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Willow chose Rocket Dog Rescue because it's an amazing, local Bay Area organization dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for dogs in danger of abuse, neglect or euthanasia. Their motto is "no dog left behind", and they've saved over 6,000 dogs in the 13 years they've been in existence. Willow loves this organization so much that she actually volunteers there each week! They're a very small, all-volunteer organization, which means small donations can go a long way to help out!

This is the district Liam works for! Funds donated to this charity will go towards supplies used by school psychologists in Oakland for counseling services. Yes, this includes puppets.
