We will spend three nights at the Hotel Arenal Kioro in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The hotel has incredible views of Costa Rica's most active volcano, the Arenal Volcano. Don't worry - the volcano has been completely inactive since 2010.

The Lost Canyon Adventure will involve down-climbing, river-tracing, and rappelling four different waterfalls. The largest waterfall will be 200 feet!

We will be taking part in an adrenaline-filled white water rafting excursion on the Rio Toro, Rio Sarapiqui, or Rio Balsa. The Rio Toro translates to the "Bull River" and features class III and IV rapids.

We'll spend three nights at the luxurious Si Como No Resort and Spa. The resort is located just above the Manuel Antonio National Park and juxtaposes lush jungle terraces and sparkling ocean views.

We'll spend three nights at Aguilar de Osa, a true rainforest and marine adventure lodge. The lodge overlooks a panorama of Drake Bay from the mouth of the Aguijitas River and is only a short distance from two of Costa Rica’s most precious natural gems, Corcovado National Park and Caño Island Marine Reserve.

We are planning an adventure honeymoon in Costa Rica! The first leg of the journey will be our flight from Jacksonville, Florida to the urban capital city, San Jose.

For the mornings spent at Hotel Arenal Kioro, we will eat the breakfast buffet at Heliconias, the hotel's main restaurant. The restaurant is decorated with tropical flowers from the hotel's gardens and its glass windows provide breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano.

We are sure to dine at some romantic restaurants hidden in the streets of San Jose. Can't wait to sip sangria with each other in the tropical paradise!

We will be visiting the Titoku Hot Springs located less than 10 miles from the Arenal Kioro Spa and Suites. We'll have to see if the hot springs lives up to its name "water of the gods."

During the Canopy Safari Tour, we'll sail through the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy on ziplines, suspension bridges, Tarzan swings, and rappel lines!

Next we'll head to the Osa Peninsula, "one of the most biologically intense places on Earth," according to National Geographic.
