Ever since I met Shawn, he’s talked about owning an old truck. Then when he say mason death trap of a truck he talked about wanitn gone more 🤦‍♀️It’s been one of his biggest dreams, and I’ve always wanted to be the one to help make it happen. Planning a wedding has been… an adventure. 😂 Well, mostly for me, since I’m the one planning everything (Shawn’s moral support counts… right? 🤭). We quickly discovered that wedding vendors are a lot pricier than we ever imagined! The first place Shawn and I ever traveled to together outside of Alaska was Florida for an Educators Rising competition. We made so many wonderful memories during that trip and have talked ever since about going back together. We’re hoping to return to Florida during winter break for our honeymoon. Waiting until then will also allow us to spend time fishing with our friends and family in Kenai right after our wedding before we head off on our first adventure as husband and wife.
