Michaela volunteers for the PLT, whose work protects open spaces, working farms and forests, critical wildlife habitats, and rare ecosystems like the Native Palouse Prairie. The Trust also manages public nature preserves, including Idler's Rest Nature Preserve, and works to connect community members with the natural world through educational outreach.
