Northern Ireland Highlights Day Trip Including Giant`s Causeway from Dublin
Group gift
Leave Dublin and travel by luxury coach to Belfast for a black cab tour, followed by a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. From the comfort of your black cab, tour Northern Ireland's capital, seeing all the landmark sites, including the Belfast Docks and the Falls and Shankill neighborhoods. After learning about Belfast’s political history, travel along the Antrim Coastal Drive, stopping to explore the famous rock formations of the Giant’s Causeway and to take the perilous walk across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. In the early morning, your guide will pick you up from selected centrally located pickup points and then drive you north out of the city by luxury coach. After a journey of roughly two hours, arrive in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, in time for your black cab tour. On a route around the city, listen to your guide talk through the highs and lows of Belfast’s fascinating political history. Hear of its industrial roots, the past four decades of civil unrest, and of its current regeneration; many say the city’s heyday is still to come. Look out for several of the top Belfast attractions, like the Harland and Wolff shipyard, where the Titanic was built, and Belfast Docks, where numerous ships were made in the city's industrial days. See political murals as you pass through the Falls and Shankill neighborhoods where Belfast’s Unionist and Nationalist cultures live on opposing sides of the divide. Pull over for a closer look at several key locations, including the Peace Wall, where you can sign your name next to legendary peacemakers, such as Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton. After a break to take refreshments in the city (own expense), leave Belfast behind and hit the road to the Northern Irish coast. Following a route known as the Antrim Coastal Drive, pass spectacular scenery including stony shores, densely wooded glens and picture-perfect harbors. Pause to marvel at Dunluce Castle, a medieval ruin perched precariously atop a bluff on the coast. Fans of hit TV show Game of Thrones may recognize it as the setting for the House of Greyjoy. After driving for roughly two hours, arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway, where you’ll have two hours to explore at leisure. Created more than 60 million years ago after a series of volcanic eruptions, the causeway is best known for its distinctive rock formations that span nearly 18 miles (29 km) of coastline. Continue on to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, which links the mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island. Steel yourself for a heart-stopping walk across the swaying bridge, as the Atlantic Ocean waves pound into the cliffs below. The surrounding headlands were also used for filming several Game of Thrones scenes. On the journey back to Dublin take a brief stop in the pretty town of Castlebelingham to stretch your legs, before arriving back to central Dublin in the evening.

London Super Saver! 2 Day Full London Tour
Group gift
See London’s top royal sights and the enigmatic Stonehenge on this Super Saver, combining two tours over the course of two days at a discounted price. On Day 1 with your professional guide, cruise through the capital’s most famous areas and view top attractions including Kensington Palace, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace, and see the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. On Day 2, head out of London to the UNESCO-listed Stonehenge. Enjoy an hour of free time to explore the ancient stone circle, and make use of an included audio guide. Day 1: Royal London Sightseeing Tour with Changing of the Guard Ceremony (3.5 Hours) Following pickup from Victoria Coach Station, your morning tour begins with a panoramic drive to Kensington Palace, once home to Princess Diana. Pop in your state-of-the-art Vox headphones as your tour starts and listen to your guide talking clearly about each site. On route, see the Royal Albert Hall, where many famous concerts are hosted, and the Albert Memorial. Continue to Trafalgar Square, passing Whitehall and the Prime Minister’s residence on Downing Street. On arrival at Parliament Square, view more top London attractions including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married. Next, head to St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Accompanied by a military band, soldiers from the Queen’s Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their cherry-red tunics and bearskin hats. This is Buckingham Palace’s oldest ceremony, and it is truly representative of the pomp and ceremony that make the British Royal Family so fascinating. Your tour then finishes in Trafalgar Square. Day 2: London to Stonehenge Independent Afternoon Trip with Audio Tour (5.5 to 6 Hours) Head out of London on an air-conditioned coach to the UNESCO-listed Stonehenge. This fascinating stone circle has sat in the same spot on the Salisbury plain for more than 5,000 years, yet nobody knows why it is there or how it was constructed. Plug into your included audio-guide to hear the different theories surrounding its purpose, and enjoy about an hour to wander around the stones independently. See the beautiful Bluestone rocks on the inside of the circle, and wonder at how these 40-ton stones could have been transported and who could have carved them in such a distinctive way. When the time comes, return to your coach and travel back to your original departure point, where your tour concludes.

Gladiator`s Arena and Colosseum Underground Tour
Group gift
Descend into the limited-access underground area of the Colosseum on this 4-hour walking tour of Ancient Rome sights. With an expert guide, you'll see the rooms and cages where gladiators and beasts waited their turns to fight in the arena, look into the underground chambers, and walking on the fighting stage, another section of the amphitheater that is typically closed to regular tours. Outside the Colosseum, you'll also visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Head through the dark heart of the restricted areas of the Colosseum underground in a group of maximum 24 people, right into the chambers where the gladiators once prepared for battle next to fierce beats waiting in cages, before making their appearance on the arena floor. During this tour you will also walk on the arena — the stage where the whole show happened — and the exhibition held at the time of your tour date . Dive into Ancient Rome history and start your journey into the subterranean area of the world’s most famous amphitheater, the Colosseum. During this tour you will visit not only the underground area, but also other sections of the Colosseum that limit regular visitors: the hypogeum and sandy arena where battles took place. Leaving the Colosseum, follow your guide to the archaeological area of the Roman Forum. Walk along Via Sacra, the main street of Ancient Rome, and reach the heart the Forum, where the empire's main religious and political buildings once stood — and sometimes still stand. See the Temple of the Vestal Virgins — it is here that the Roman priestesses tended the eternal flame of Rome — and the Roman Senate where decisions were taken that changed the course of history; admire the triumphal Arch of Septimius Severus, the Arch of Titus, and the Arch of Constantine, named for the emperor who, by defeating his archrival, Maxentius, set the groundwork for the decline of the pagan world and the rise of Christianity. Then explore Palatine Hill, the most ancient part of Rome, where you'll hear about Romulus and Remus, the twin founders of this historical city. From here you will enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Rome ever. After hours of intense history and sightseeing, your tour concludes back in the Roman Forum where you will be free to stay as long as you want.

Paris in a Day: Montmartre, Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower
Group gift
Pack all of Paris’s main attractions into a single, unforgettable day on our complete Paris in a day trip. In the company of a local expert guide and a small-group (maximum of 15 people), you’ll see the city’s main monuments and learn a lot of its hidden secrets while traveling by foot and metro. From the windmills of Montmartre, to the sanctuary of Notre Dame, the halls of the Louvre, and the second floor of the Eiffel tower; you will cram more postcard worthy attractions into one day (9/10.25-hours) than you would see in a week of normal sightseeing. Your day starts at the base of Montmartre, a Parisian neighborhood perched on a hill, where you’ll meet your guide and small group of no more than 15 people. Paris is a city with a lot of history and even more attractions, so in order to see the best of it in one day, it helps to do so with an expert guide who takes care of logistics and tells you the story of the city as you go, including its characters, facts, myths, and lore, creating a memorable experience. First up, take the funicular to Sacré-Coeur Basilica. After admiring stunning views of the city, your guide leads you through the winding streets of Montmartre, stopping off at the neighborhood vineyard, the artist hangout Place du Tertre, and a reconstructed windmill, much like those made famous by the cabaret club (and movie) Moulin Rouge. Next, catch the Metro — Paris’ best mode of transport — for a short trip to Ile de la Cité, Paris’ oldest district. As you explore the narrow streets of the island and step inside world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral, you’ll learn how Paris grew from a Roman outpost into the crown jewel of Europe. From Ile de la Cité, it’s a short walk to the Louvre, where you have a 1-hour lunch break (own expense; recommendations will be provided by your guide) before diving into the largest art museum in the world to see some of its most spellbinding works of art. The highlight is, of course, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Your guide helps you understand why the painting is so significant and how, after all these years, it has managed to maintain its reputation as one of the world’s greatest works of art. After another short subway ride, find yourself staring up at the Eiffel Tower from the best vantage point at Place du Trocadéro, learning the incredible story of how the tower was built. When you get to the base, you’ll skip the line and climb directly to the second level for more great views of Paris. Your guide leaves you at the tower, but as a parting a gift, gives you a ticket for a 1-hour Seine River cruise that you can use immediately (recommended as it will almost be sunset) or save for the next day. Cruising from west to east and back again, the boat tour passes such monuments as the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, and Notre Dame, allowing you to enjoy a different perspective on sites you saw earlier, plus many beautiful bridges including Pont Neuf (audio included if you wish). And that’s it! In just one day, you’ll have seen Paris by foot and water, skipping its longest lines to see its most popular attractions, plus a few local favorites along the way.

Blarney Castle and Cork Day Trip from Dublin
Purchased
Visit three top Ireland attractions in one day on the Blarney Castle and Cork Day Trip from Dublin. From the comfort of your luxury coach, you'll travel south to Blarney Castle, Cork City and the Rock of Cashel cathedral, passing through beautiful, green South Irish countryside on your way. Be sure to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, and you'll be blessed with the "gift of the gab" for a lifetime of smooth talking! Leaving the city of Dublin behind, you'll set off on board a luxury, air-conditioned coach and watch the landscape change from Dublin's urban cityscape to the rolling, green hills that typify the Irish countryside. Your day trip will drive through several areas of interest, including the Galtee Mountains and the Curragh in County Kildare, which is home to Ireland's National Stud Farm and is famous as a sporting region. Passing south through County Tipperary, your tour will reach Blarney Castle by late morning. This beautiful medieval castle is home to one of Ireland's best loved treasures - the fascinating Blarney Stone, which sits at the top of the castle's tower. According to legend, kissing the stone bestows the kisser with the "gift of the gab," or talent for eloquence that the Irish famously possess. From Blarney Castle, your tour will continue on to Cork City, where you will have approximately two hours at leisure for independent sightseeing. Enjoy lunch at the English Market (available for an extra cost) or perhaps visit the triple-spired St Finn Bar's Cathedral. Your guide will be happy to provide recommendations of further things to do in Ireland's third-largest city. On leaving Cork, you'll head up to the Rock of Cashel back up in County Tipperary. This imposing Celtic Cathedral towers above the town of Cashel from a limestone mound, approximately 200 feet (61 meters) high. Highlights at the Rock of Cashel include the Hall of Vicars and Cormac's Chapel, home to the oldest Romanesque wall painting in Ireland. Explore these historical sites with your guide, before heading back to Dublin to arrive in the early evening.

Irish Whiskey Museum Experience

Discover the history of Irish whiskey making and sip on a sample of the golden spirit on this guided 1-hour Irish Whiskey Museum experience. Trace the origins of the beloved drink and hear how the whiskey industry in Ireland has changed and evolved over the years. Listen to your guide reveal anecdotes as you examine the informative exhibits. At the end, enjoy a complimentary whiskey tasting. Upgrade to taste a premium aged whiskey and take home a souvenir of your experience. Make your way to the Irish Whiskey Museum to meet your guide and begin your 1-hour whiskey experience. Located in the heart of Dublin’s city center beside the famous Trinity College, the museum can be easily reached by bus, Luas and DART lines. Choose a tour time that suits you, and then set off on an enlightening journey through the history of Irish whiskey. Affectionately called 'uisce beatha' (Gaelic for 'water of life'), the Irish have been distilling the spirit for centuries. In the 19th century, whiskey was the drink of choice in Ireland and across many parts of the world, but the Irish Potato Famine, Prohibition and various wars all contributed to the drink’s demise. As you make your way through the museum, trace the rise, fall and recent resurgence of Irish whiskey, and listen to your guide share stories about whiskey through the ages and examine displays of rare whiskey memorabilia. End your experience with a whiskey tasting. Take a deep sniff of the powerful spirit, before tasting the smooth tipple. If you’ve chosen to upgrade your experience, you’ll get to sample a premium aged whiskey and take a souvenir home as a memento of your experience. The tour concludes after the tasting, but you may wish to head to the retail area to pick up some whiskey merchandise or visit the bar, where you can sample more of the golden elixir in a range of whiskey-based cocktails (own expense).

Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Purchased
Explore three famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon – Murano, Torcello and Burano – on a half-day sightseeing excursion by motorboat. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll stop at a glass-blowing factory on Murano, visit Venice's first cathedral on the tranquil island of Torcello and shop for handcrafted lace on Burano. This morning or afternoon tour is a great introduction to the magical islands around the medieval city of Venice and its enclosed bay in the Adriatic Sea. Board a comfortable motorboat, departing from the Alilaguna pier in front of the Royal Gardens, and speed along the Venetian Lagoon to three islands famous for their handicrafts and architecture. You’ll cruise past the islands of San Giorgio Maggiore, San Servolo, San Lazzaro degli Armeni and Sant’Elena Gardens to Murano, divided into nine islets crossed by a wide canal. Known for its glassware shops and factories, Murano boasts a long and still-thriving tradition dating back to 1291, when glass artisans moved their kilns from the old city center. Explore the island on foot and stop at a glass factory to watch a skilled glass blower create works of art. Learn from your guide about Murano’s wealth in the 15th and 16th centuries when the island was central to Europe’s glass making. View the magnificent splendor of Murano’s palaces and Veneto-Byzantine style churches, some with mosaics and ornamental motifs designed in the 12th century, and catch a glimpse of San Michele – Venice’s 19th-century cemetery – across the water. Before re-boarding the boat, you'll have time to visit a museum showcasing the world-famous Murano glass. When you reach the island of Torcello – established between the 5th and 6th centuries and the earliest center of civilization in the Venetian Lagoon – you’ll see evidence of the island’s glorious past as it once flourished with ornate palaces and churches. First, view the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, founded in the 7th century. Your guide will also show you the excavated remains of the circular baptistery in the Church of Santa Fosca, which showcases a delightful portico and striking Byzantine interior. Afterward, journey to the island of Burano and admire the picturesque fishermen's houses painted in bright pastel colors. In this miniature Venice, you’ll find the famous lace – abundant since the 16th century and once considered the most refined in Europe. Browse local shops and find lace on display at a museum dedicated to the craft of lace making before your guide returns you to Venice.
