We'll be savoring some of Alsace's flammekueche (flatbread pizza) with Riesling

to bring a couple bottles from our Champagne vineyard/Alsace travels home with us for special occasions :)

We are still choosing the restaurant, but since we are such foodies who spend hours cooking, baking, and watching Anthony Bourdain and Netflix chef specials, we felt a dinner at a Michelin restaurant was a must for our Paris experience!

We ended up booking a tour with a guide, all the way to the very top, with included Champagne, so we need a liiiittle bit more for this experience than previously thought! :)

If you know us, you know we are always eating. And that "always" is not an exaggeration. We will be walking the streets of Le Marais, tasting all of the delicious things with a guided tour. At least we are moving while we eat?

One day of our trip will be spent wandering the vineyards of the Champagne region of France. This small group tour will take us on an 12-hour Champagne tasting adventure: visiting 1 Champagne maison (such as Vueve Cliquot) and 2 boutique vineyards, having an outdoor picnic with wine pairings, and exploring the town of Hautvillers! The trip ended up being a bit more expensive than we thought, so we had to add a 4th fund after the first 3 were purchased!

Being the basic tourists we are, we have decided to stay in a beautiful apartment next to the Eiffel Tower. However picturesque our view may be, we are a little out of the center of town. We would love some help getting around when our bodies are too full of carbs to walk! (Also to and from the airport!)

because did one actually go to Paris if they didn't visit the Louvre?
