Hi everybody! We are so excited to announce that on 2/2/2022 (at 2 pm!) WE GOT MARRIED!! Our wedding was in downtown Raleigh at Christ Church on Capitol Square where Mandy sings. We chose to marry one another in the quiet gardens of Christ Church because it is a special place in our hearts. It was on a Christ Church singing trip that Austin proposed to Mandy at the Eiffel Tower! We chose to have a small ceremony with just us, our pastor, our witnesses, a cellist, and our photographer - a grand party of 7! We loved the intimate nature of our ceremony, and we are looking forward to celebrating the joy of our union with you the next time we see you! We have been together for almost 8 years after falling in love in the Great Smoky Mountains as whitewater raft guides at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Our mutual love for music, rafting, nature, fun, and games brought us together, and our bond has been growing ever since. We are so excited to start our married life and we want to continue our path together by purchasing a home. After 8 years together, we have a fully furnished apartment with every tool, gadget, and furniture item we need. Our main goal going forward is to find a house that suits us perfectly for our starter (or forever) home.
