Founded by Vivien Sansour, the Palestinian Heirloom Seed Library project seeks to preserve & promote heritage and threatened seed varieties, traditional Palestinian farming practices, & the cultural stories and identities associated with them. Working closely with farmers, the Library has identified key seed varieties & crops threatened with extinction, & provides opportunities to inspire local farmers & community members to actively preserve their bio-culture & recuperate their local landscape.

Black Thumb Farm is a local community based organization in the San Fernando Valley, which provides BIPOC youth with leadership skills, mentorship, and healthy, quality produce through hands-on training and experience in farming and gardening. traci and eli love to volunteer with BTF, and enjoy their many BIPOC centered gatherings that serve and support multigenerational local community!

The San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple has been my spiritual home for many years. I'm so grateful for the Dharma and wonderful Sangha in my life, and that the temple continues its existence over 100 years in Pacoima, thanks to so many countless beings.
