The Fifty Fund is a non-profit nearest our hearts. Lead by amazing young people in the far rural corner of Lee County, Alabama, they operate amazing themed day camps (Camp Star) for young people with very limited resources and access in rural Lee/Tallapoosa/Chambers County Alabama. The Fifty Fund is an extraordinary, "real life" leadership development program with more clarity and true work on racial oppression than we have seen anyways. Stonecatchers, an arts initiative of The Fifty Fund, supports "truth-telling" of life stories and overlooked histories in rural Alabama.

Flourish Kenya was founded by close friend, Dr. Esther Ngumbi. Esther is a graduate of Leading Edge and a PhD in entomology from Auburn University. Esther started a school, Faulu Academy, in her small village in Kenya (Mabafweni) while gaining patents, working on sustainable food production, getting published in any and every academic and notable news and scientific information source. Faulu Academy is an English immersion school in a very poor village for boys and girls, now in its 7th year. The school has small classes and dedicated teachers to help young people prepare for secondary school exams and opportunities. Esther has built the school, a library, greenhouses for food production in increasingly desert-like conditions, and built a well. She has done this with incredibly small resources, even while working as a Clinton Global Initiative Fellow and now mentor and an Aspen Institute Fellow.
