In honor of my Grandmother who bravely fought cancer multiple times before passing, we would be humbled if anyone would like to join us in making a donation to Memorial Sloan Kettering, one of the best cancer research institutions in the world. Having been an educator at the Tenement Museum for over two years, I continue to be invested in the thankless work performed by all the museum staff, especially the educators. They share the stories of immigrants and migrants to New York City of the past while championing the lived experiences of newcomers to the city and country today.
