We'll be flying in and out of Denpasar, the capital of Bali, which is 30+ hours of travel time each way!

For weekend getaways!

After flying into Bali, we'll travel by boat to the Gili Islands and eventually on to Lombok.

We plan to hike Mount Rinjani in Lombok! It's one of the volcanoes in the Pacific Ring of Fire, and the second largest mountain in Indonesia. It should take us 2-4 days depending on our chosen route.

We'll hit up this gorgeous lodge in North Lombok for two nights of relaxation after hiking Mount Rinjani.

We'll spend two days in Ubud, known as Bali's cultural center.

In which we get picked up at 2:00 a.m. to hike up to the top of the crater to make this sunrise view!

We'll rent bikes to get around the Gili Islands - there are no vehicles on the islands, so travel is by foot, bicycle, or horse and cart.

Indonesia has tons of gorgeous rice terraces that look worth exploring!

We somehow manage to find a brewery everywhere we travel, even in Bali!
