They may not look like much but this is the only set of flatware that really caught my eye after perusing so many kitchen stores. They have a great weight to them (not too heavy but certainly not flimsy) and the weathered look is rustic, classic, semi-elegant but will serve as great everyday flatware. They're perfect!

I'm looking forward to creating a gallery wall with these gorgeous frames!

These cookie sheets are such a great size for two people; one for roasting veggies and the other for two or three chicken breasts on a weeknight.

This is the best little gadget! It is one of those items you don't think you need until you have one. Unfortunately, I have gone through 3 of them because I haphazardly lost all of them to the garbage disposal :( But I am committed to making sure the strawberry huller doesn't experience this kind of demise again! Seriously though, I use this thing ALL the time (when I had it).

This past summer I stayed with a friend in Chicago who also happens to be a fabulous cook. She taught me the benefit of copper cookware. Originally, I had that listed on my registry but I switched over to All Clad because thought I love the look of Copper (even when it becomes weathered), I think I will appreciate the shine of the All Clad and it's easy clean-up. Sorry Kim! (Maybe I'll inherit some vintage Copper some day!) I love trying new recipes and pushing my creativity in the kitchen. This set will definitely will be loved (and used so much) over the course of our marriage!

The best drinking glasses; they're very thick and who doesn't love those little fleur-de-lis?!

Boos is the crème de la crème of cutting boards. They last forever with proper care and treatment and this one has a beveled edge on one side to catch meat juices but a flat surface on the other so chop veggies and easily slide them off the board. This is a cutting board that is not only practical but also looks pretty on displayed on a counter.

I know what you're thinking, "They're crazy for ordering wood handled steak knives that can't go in the dishwasher!" I just couldn't resist these though despite the minor inconvenience they might add to our clean-up :)

I love these and I have been trying to find French wine glasses down for so long!

I love the color of these plates! They are so elegant but can also be used everyday and paired with many complimentary colored dishes and napkins. I know I will never grow tired of this set.

I have most of Ina Garten's cookbooks and I can't wait to work my way through the recipes in this one for Vinny.

This probably doesn't seem like a necessity for some but after using one of these all summer to heat up almond milk for my morning lattés, I will never use a stove top kettle again! This is the greatest little gadget!

There is so much to say about this incredible piece of kitchen equipment. Mom Cherry and I went into a Sur la Table this past summer and were amazed by this sleek machine and its amount of functions but also the quality of the espresso/coffee it produces. We were standing by a Parisian and he said, "This is the next best thing to drinking a latté in France." Enough said.

This set of ivory serving platters is my favorite! They are so elegant and when not being used would look beautiful on display.

This is one of the coffee table books I've been wanting for awhile. We plan on using this as our nontraditional wedding guest book at the reception!

I LOVE this coverlet particularly because of the scallop edge. We have a Queen size bed. When trying to decide what color I like best, it's too difficult to choose; I think any of the colors are beautiful!

My mom always complains that I don't have clocks in my apartment. Well, it is either because I rely on my cell phone and I haven't found any clocks that are pretty enough to serve both a decorative and functional use...until this darling little one came across my radar. I think it would be a perfect addition to any bedroom dresser or even a mantlepiece.

Mom C has a ice cream maker and Vinny and I LOVE it! When I lived with them a few summers ago, we put it to use practically every weekend. I'm so excited that Kitchenaid has this attachment.

This attachment will come in really handy! I had a spiralizer that I used for spiralizing cucumber, zucchini, sweet potato and squash about three times a week for dinner and make ahead lunches until it finally crashed and burned from overuse. I will put this to use weekly but the good news is that it is more durable than the plastic version I had and much easier to store.

My best friend, Clare and I used to share an apartment together in Arlington, VA. I was known as her "french friend" but for some reason, I had never made Madeleines! They were her favorite and every time I make these little treats in the future, I will always be reminded of her and our wonderful years together as roommates!

Emile Henry makes the BEST pie dishes! They are made in France, they are extremely durable and also very preppy and feminine. I can't wait to use this dish for quiches and pies as well as a serving dish!

I never before realized how incredible and essential these tools are before taking a cake decorating class. I've never invested in a set before but because I love to bake so much, I know these will become a staple item in our kitchen.
