Eliza deeply admires these Sisters' work in counseling mothers considering abortion and who've already experienced it in need of healing. They also operate a home for women in crisis pregnancies in need of more deliberate assistance, and help them get on their feet again through their network of local volunteers. Will has a deep and lifelong love of the sea and a heart for sailors. The Apostleship of the Sea is a Catholic organization devoted to serving merchant mariners, sailors, and all who travel by sea. It consists of Catholic maritime ministers and priests who provide for the pastoral needs of mariners. In addition to their most important work administering the Sacraments in port and at sea, AoS ministers and priests work to ensure a safe work environment, just contracts, a genuine welcome and safe haven while in port, spiritual renewal, communication with loved ones back home, and recreational possibilities for all mariners.
