For any last minute adventures or unexpected costs

We will take a two hour ferry ride from Key West to the island of Dry Tortugas National Park. We will spend the night and enjoy a new moon sky. During the day we will enjoy fishing, exploring Fort Jefferson, and snorkeling in what is considered North America's best snorkeling destination. Dry Tortugas was originally named 'Los Tortugas' meaning 'The Turtles' because of all the species of sea turtles that live around the island. Allison is excited to teach Dylan all about each species and all the interesting facts about sea turtles!

We will be staying at the Boca Ciega Resort & Marina right on the waterfront. The resort has a pool, hot tub and fishing dock and located just minutes from the beach!

We will be staying near Duval Street in a tropically-themed hotel room. We will be within walking distance to water, restaurants, and the southernmost point of the continental United States!

We will take an airboat ride in the heart of Everglades National Park. The Everglades are the largest subtropical wilderness in the U.S., home to a variety of reptiles, birds, turtles, deer, wild boars and the Florida Panther.

We will enjoy a 10 hour deep sea fishing trip out of Hubbards Marina. We are able to take some of our catches to the local restaurant and have them make our dinner with our catch.

We will take a tour around Key West on the hop-on hop-off trolley. We will make stops at Key West Aquarium, Mallory Square, Bahama Village Market and many more in addition to learning about the history of Key West.

Allison will get to see her all time favorite animal (White Tigers) in real life!

We plan to fish almost every day!

We will be snorkeling at North America’s only living reef system from a spacious catamaran, enjoying the rhythmic sounds of reggae music in tropical waters. Then, watching the sunset over the horizon!

We will kayak though the mangroves and sea grass meadows. We will be able to paddle through one of the longest continuous stretches of mangroves in the US!
