We plan to stay at hotels, cabins, cottages and camp all around New Zealand, helping us explore the South Island as much as possible!

One of the many reasons that NZ was our dream honeymoon destination was for the insanely good fly fishing. We want to stay for 3 nights at a lodge and fish with one of their guides for 4 days.

Nest Kitchen and Bar in Queenstown is high on our list for trying! They're known for their dining experiences with stunning lake views and contemporary New Zealand cuisine. We can't wait!!

We can't wait to try the freshest salmon in the world! Nestled in the stunning Southern Alps of New Zealand, Mt. Cook Alpine Salmon Shop offers a unique dining experience with freshwater King Salmon.

Hook Wanaka is a unique lake-to-plate in Wanaka, where you can catch Chinook salmon from the spring-fed fishing lakes and have it prepared for you on-site!

Bambina Newmarket Cafe is a cozy spot in the heart of Newmarket. We are looking forward to their coffee, good bites and to experiencing what people call their favorite hidden gem!

The Hooker Valley Track in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is a day hike with stunning views of the Southern Alps. The trail takes you past alpine streams, glaciers and we couldn't be more excited!

Mueller Hut is a popular hiking destination in Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand. The hike to Mueller Hut typically takes around 4-6 hours one way. The track is roughly 6.5 miles long and gains 3,465 feet in elevation. (Even though it's our honeymoon we still gotta get a good workout in!) It's considered a challenging hike, but the stunning views of Mount Cook and the surrounding mountains make it well worth the effort. At the top, there is a small cabin that you camp at for the night!

The High Country Cabin is a stylishly decorated cabin in the heart of the Southern Alps on the South Island of New Zealand. Inspired by the Backcountry huts throughout the area, it provides a rustic country-style experience. It has an amazing view of the stars and the mountains, what more do we need?

Another reason we can't wait to visit New Zealand, the amazing lupins! A vibrant sea of pink, purple, and white lupins stretches towards the majestic snow-capped peak of Mount Cook and we're so excited to see them!

Lake Marian is a stunning alpine lake nestled in the Darran Mountains of Fiordland National Park, New Zealand. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and fed by Marian Creek, this hidden gem is a must do hike for us on our trip! This is a 3-hour hike that leads to the lake, offering a challenging yet rewarding adventure through cascading waterfalls and lush landscapes!

Visiting Te Waihou Blue Springs looks like stepping into Disney movie. Tucked away near Putāruru in the Waikato, this natural spring produces some of the clearest, purest water in the world—so clean it supplies around 70% of New Zealand’s bottled water!

This is the largest organic lavender farm in the Southern Hemisphere! The lavender will be in full bloom when we are visiting NZ so we are super excited to travel and see this farm. We are most excited to try their lavender infused ice cream!!

A wonderful small town that we want to walk around and visit while in NZ. They have wine and whiskey tasting that is right up our alley!

We plan on seeing the mountains, glaciers and of course... the beach too! This is a short hike and is absolutely breathtaking along the coastline. We are so excited!

A multigenerational vineyard farm that we are estatic to visit. From the best award-winning wine to breathtaking views of Lake Wanaka!

We can't wait to try this award-winning restaurant! Three Seven Two is perched across from the pristine stretch of Onetangi Beach which we also can't wait to see!

We love anything and everything outdoors. Our plan is to rent a van and camp for a night exploring the South Island.
