The first three nights of our honeymoon we’ll be staying in the southern Algarve coast of Portugal. Vila Vita Parc resort has a dozen amazing restaurants and unique dining experiences to choose from.

This awarded spa features a unique design inspired by the region’s enchanting sea caves, including natural stone and restful tones of blue and green to reflect the many hues of the Atlantic Ocean. We are excited for our spa massage treatments!

Located about 8 metres underground, the Wine Cellar hosts over 11,000 wine bottles from different regions in Portugal and from all over the world. A recommended and extraordinary dining experience where we’re guided through the flavors of various vintages during wine and cheese tastings, Portuguese tapas, and homemade bread and olive oil from Herdade dos Grous (their own farm and vineyard in Alentejo).

Day trip to a hidden cave in the Algarve, Portugal. The Benagil Cave or "Algar de Benagil" has received several national and international distinctions from different entities, such as the british newspaper "The Guardian" that placed this magnificent sea cave among the 10 "Wonders of the World". The only way into the cave is boat or kayak!

The second half of our honeymoon we’ll be leaving the Algarve and heading North to the city of Lisbon. Lisbon is known for its unique historical center, stunning architecture, colorful azulejos (ceramic tiles), and fantastic food. We can’t wait to dine at various restaurants in this food hub. Recommendations welcome!

Portugal is home to 38 Michelin awarded restaurants, twelve of which are in Lisbon. We’re excited to try one or two of these awarded restaurants while on our honeymoon!
