We'll be spending our first night on safari inside of the Tarangire National Park known for its abundant population of elephants. What better to end our first game drive than with drinks on the veranda watching the elephants quench their thirst in the Tarangire River?

With the unique experience to do a night game drive in the Tarangire National Park, we'd love to see how the animals behave in the dark when very few people are around...

For our second night on safari, we'll be spending it in a lodge on the rim of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, which is home to the highest density of big game in Africa and offers some of the most phenomenal panoramic views of nature in Tanzania. We'll cheers to you while imagining what it looked like as a volcano before it exploded and collapsed on itself some three million years ago.

We'll take our safari on foot as we walk around the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. But don't worry, we'll have a guide with us along the way to scare off any rhinos that try to get too friendly (just kidding, there aren't any rhinos at the top of the rim...wait are there?)

We'll be spending three nights in the middle of our safari in the Ndutu region of the Southern Serengeti in a mobile tented camp that moves seasonally along with the wildebeest "Great Migration". With wandering wildebeests and wine, we're sure to have an amazing time.

We'll be spending our last two nights of the safari portion of our honeymoon in the Seronera Valley located in the Central Serengeti in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Renowned for one of the largest wildlife populations in the world, including a large population of the "Big Cats", we'll enjoy a few cocktails on you before being lulled to sleep by lions roaring nearby.

After wrapping up our Tanzanian safari explorations, we'll fly to Zanzibar to wind down. Our first stop will be Stone Town, a UNESCO world heritage site and a vibrant place steeped in rich history. With Zanzibar nicknamed Spice Island, we can't visit without seeing and tasting what this unique town has to offer.

What better way to take in the coastal city of Stone Town than with a relaxing sunset cruise on a traditional dhow cutting through the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean?

After off-roading in a 4x4 Land Cruiser for a week through the Tanzanian wilderness, we could probably use some professional help to get us feeling like brand new

With over 400 species of fish and 40 miles of coral reef, we'll go from looking at land to sea creatures to see how they measure up (excluding the sea turtle, because we all know that wins in Thayer's book any day)

After a long, laborious day of sunbathing, few things sound better to us than feasting on fresh seafood on the beach with a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean (while toasting to you for gifting us this dinner, of course!)

Because you have to let the (future) husband win sometimes

Whether bubbly, beer, or a banana daquiri, everyone knows the beach is just better with a cold drink in hand. We'll think of you while sipping cocktails under the (unbearably hot) equatorial sun.
