Ted & Melissa
September 14, 2019
Your presence at our wedding is a gift enough to us! But if you are inclined to give us something, please consider the below items we have highlighted. Ted and I actually have a very well stocked kitchen and small apartment, so given that, we would particularly ask for you to consider donating to Melissa's law school fund, and the two charities we have highlighted below, InterVarsity Experiential Discipleship and the Equal Justice Initiative. For other gifts, we are registered at Target and Amazon.

Melissa's Law School Fund
Our featured fund
Melissa is hoping to attend law school in the next two years with a focus on immigration and refugee law. Over several years of prayer, Melissa has discerned a calling from God to enter the field of law specifically to serve and defend the rights of immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees. Melissa hopes to be able to use a law degree to directly represent and defend the cases of migrants and asylum seekers and also to advocate on a policy level for the protection of migrants and refugees. If you are inclined to give towards this goal, we would appreciate a donation of any size as a sign of your partnership with us.

IVED donation
Our featured fund
The InterVarsity Experiential Discipleship program exists to create resources that facilitate a better understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and reflect His purposes to the world in every corner of every higher education campus and beyond with relevant topics for the new generation. It accomplishes this goal by creating material that meets people where they are, in the media and content that they already consume. Through podcasts, videos, and other media resources, IVED seeks to create thoughtful and carefully-curated content designed to help people of all ages pursue this goal. The material especially focuses on topics to help college-aged students to engage fully with God and the world around them both as individuals and as part of broader communities in ways that are emotionally and spiritually sustainable.Kyle Lee is the Media Production Coordinator of the IVED program. He is also Ted's best man, so if you have any additional questions, or you would like to learn how to support IVED beyond our wedding, please feel free to talk to him at the wedding or reach out to kyle.lee@intervarsity.org. If you would like to donate, please give to this fund and we will donate all proceeds to IVED. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
