The father is still currently looking for employment. Our team would like to provide some assistance to help ease the financial burden as they navigate their new environment, language and cultural barriers, and the job search/coaching process as he seeks employment.

12 month subscription to ESL library. Our team will be directly teaching and tutoring the mom on her English, as she cannot make it to formal ESL classes with her 7 kids and 8th on the way. We will also be doing English practice twice a week with the family.

The family has some needs for ongoing supplies, household necessities, cleaning items, and schooling needs. They also have a baby on the way, and are not yet in a place to identify what specific items they need yet since their apartment is so small, so cash donations would be most helpful at the moment. Gift cards to Target, Amazon, grocery stores, etc. are also welcome. We will use this fund to purchase physical items for needs that arise, and any excess will be donated to Catholic Charities (our sponsoring agency) to benefit other refugee families in need.
