Shane loves Lord of the Rings and since we are headed to New Zealand the first stop of our honeymoon is to explore the real-life movie set where the movies were filmed. This is a big deal for Shane, and I am excited to get to experience it as well.

In Waitomo, New Zealand there are mountain caves that have glowworms that call the caves home. We will float down a river that runs through the caves and be able to see a "starry" night from the glowworms.

If you know me, I love wine!! Shane got me a bottle of New Zealand wine on our first date and now we will get to try it at the source. It will be a day full of good wine and amazing New Zealand cuisine.

Kayaking the coastline off Kaikoura, New Zealand, we will get a chance to see New Zealand fur seals in the wild and other marine life. Don't worry we will be at a legal safe distance from the marine mammals... Got to follow the Marine Mammal Protection Act :)

Getting to explore downtown Christchurch, New Zealand. Christchurch is a must see while in New Zealand and just one of our many stops on our honeymoon.

We are going to enjoy a food tour through Dunedin – a delicious deep dive into the city’s culinary soul, rich heritage, and vibrant streetscapes. Taste your way through Dunedin’s extraordinary food scene.

The chance to see yellow-eyed penguins in the wild is just another bucket list item for me. We will travel out to a conservation area and secluded beach on a headland, where we will be on the lookout for yellow-eyed penguins, fur seals, albatross, sea lions, and more.

We are currently renovating our future home in Tulsa. We know we will need items once the renovation is complete, but we are unsure what those items will be at this time. This fund will help us get items like rugs, furniture, curtains, bedding, etc. We are so excited to literally build our home as a newlywed couple.

Kiwis, Kiwis, Kiwis.... This night tour will get a chance for Shane and me to see the national bird of New Zealand... a Kiwi. My animal and bird nerd is coming out!!! Kiwis and other New Zealand wildlife will be observed in their natural habitat.
