We plan to purchase a king bed soon as our cats force us to sleep in the fetal position each night as they stretch out across the bottom of the bed... or across our pillows... or really wherever they like. And with a new dog on the horizon, we need a bed that will fit the whole fam - and sheets to match!

Yes, that is our private swimming pool! We're kicking off our honeymoon in style at the luxury boutique hotel Eden Roc at Cap Cana. Dee can't wait to float in the pool all day and Lauren is really excited that the suite comes with our very own electric golf cart! We're so looking forward to the peace and quiet this place will afford us to revel in the bliss of being newlyweds... and help rejuvenate us after 5 months of non-stop wedding planning!

While at Eden Roc, we'll visit local gourmet restaurants for delicious and decadent dinners. Stuffed after apps, entrees, dessert and wine - we'll let the golf cart roll us on home.

private plunge pool + ocean view + castle = awesome. After leaving Eden Roc, we'll head 5 minutes up the road to Sanctuary Cap Cana. Situated on a beautiful beach and designed like a small Spanish village (complete with castle), we'll stay in a honeymoon suite on the third floor of the fortress (we must defend our marriage!). Having rested up at Eden Roc, we'll partake in the resort's many amenities including cocktail-making classes and dance lessons (these will be exclusively for Lauren's benefit).

Together we'll ride off into the sunset... for approximately 2 hours. We had such a great time horseback riding in Virginia last fall so we'd love to experience it again - this time on a gorgeous beach!

We'll spend our last four nights in the Dominican Republic at the adults-only, top-rated Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro. We're looking forward to the great restaurants, beach beds and pillow menu (medium-firm? extra soft? anything is possible!).

We have an old blue stock pot, a lopsided 10" fry pan, a sauce pan that Lauren consistently forgets is on the stove (oops) and other pieces of cookware we've picked up along the way. We'd love to be able to send them packing to the Land of Misfit Pots and introduce these shiny new beauties into our cooking routine.

WE LOVE CHAMPAGNE! and it's not appropriate to drink it out of the bottle. Please help us.

What better way to kick off our honeymoon than having strangers touch us all over! Seriously though - an hour long couples massage will be just what we need to relax and feel pampered.

We want to be one with the fishies! We'll head out in the afternoon to a nearby reef to check out the sea creatures and get back on the boat for a sunset sail back to land.

It's our honeymoon! We'll stare googly eyed at each other, hold hands across the table and let our toes mingle in the sand during this romantic beach dinner for two.
