Our third stop on our Christkindlmarket tour. Instead of Wall Street, Munich has the beer industry, which at one point in history accounted for half the government’s revenue. Munich hosts the world’s oldest beer regulation so you know the Medieval Bavarians take their craft seriously. Are you team Paulaner or team Hofbräu? Famous as well for its multiple Christmas Markets, we will also be able to see the famous Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, and a visit to the fantastical Neuschwanstein Castle.

Our fourth and final stop on our Christkindlmarkt tour. Most widely known for its trials against individuals involved in the Nazi regime, Nuremberg is perhaps the most famous Christmas market in Germany. As the crown jewel in our Christkindlmarket tour, we saved the best for the last. Other attractions include the historic Altstadt (downtown), the Kaiserburg (Imperial castle of the Holy Roman Empire), and the infamous courtroom of the Nuremberg trials.

Our second stop on the Christkindlmarket tour. This will be a day trip exploring the Alpine beauty of the surrounding area of Salzburg. St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen will be the peak of our Alpine scenic experience. Both located in the Salzkammergut (Austrian Lake District), it is the home of pristine Alpine villages on the Wolfgangsee and, surprisingly, Red Bull Headquarters. While it will be cold getting our newlywed panoramas, we’ll be sure to stop at each towns Christmas markets to warm up.
