We will be taking a mini-moon right after the wedding due to Emma's recent start at a new job in September of 2023. Nick is planning our mini-moon as a surprise for Emma. However in one year, for our first anniversary, we plan to take our big honeymoon to Southeast Asia and 100% of honeymoon fund contributions will go towards that trip! If there is something particular you would like for your gift to go towards, we would love to honor that request! Please just indicate in your note. Some ideas include: a dinner for two, hotels, jungle safari, couples massage, boat tour, cooking class, temple tours and/or museums.

For those of you who may not know yet, half of Nick's heritage is from Croatia, which is where his mom was born. And according to Croatian tradition, it is terribly bad luck to gift knives or scissors, as it symbolizes a "severing" of your relationship. That said, we get so much use out of our kitchen knives and find them to be an integral part of our kitchen, where Nick and I enjoy cooking together often. Therefore rather than registering for knives directly, we decided to create a small fund for a new set of kitchen knives and set of steak knives for our table.
