"Dave" is Gabby's imaginary dog that she's been talking about for the past 4 years. Someday we hope to adopt a baby french bulldog to make this a reality.

With a close walk to the Van Gogh Museum and a room that overlooks the canal, we're very excited to be staying at this hotel in Amsterdam!

We found this wonderful 2-hour evening cruise that goes straight down Amsterdam's canal district including the city center, the Red Light District, the Golden Bend and Oosterdok.

We did a lot of research on hotels & fell in love with this one when we first laid eyes on it. Although it's in the 11th Arrondissement of Paris, Paris is small enough that everything is walking distance!

Currently our plan is to fly down to Amsterdam, explore a few days, then train down to Paris where we will explore the arrondissements and places like Versailles and Cathedral Notre Dame.

We LOVE to eat together, so rather than marking 1 nice restaurant in Paris we're starting a dinner fund. We're hoping that this will give us the opportunity to experience Paris in a way that we wouldn't be able to do otherwise.

This is more of a joke BUT it is probably time for us to upgrade to adult clothing and get durable jackets, rather than trying to wear 3 sweaters on a rainy day.
