We adopted Mocha on January 4th 2020. She brought joy, laughter, and walks as we weathered the pandemic together in our DC apartment. We treasure our time with her learning tricks, sunbathing, and going on adventures. On April 24th, 2025 we lost her suddenly, at age 5 to an aggressive cancer, hemangiosarcoma. We will be donating in her honor to the Hemangiosarcoma Initiative by the Morris Animal Foundation which is studying ways to limit this terrible disease.

We'll be taking a weekend trip to Chicago just after the wedding. We plan to take a longer honeymoon abroad in spring of 2026. We've been busy planning the wedding but are looking forward to an adventure together as newlyweds.
