From Sonali: Maitri has been (literally) close to my heart since the day I was born. I have watched Maitri, and my mother as one of its founders, fight domestic violence for my whole life. Maitri empowers women who have been let down by those they trusted. I am so lucky to have such loving family and friends to care for me, but not all are that blessed. Maitri helps those without such luck pick themselves up from hard times. Any contribution you can give to Maitri would mean a lot to me.

From Chirag: Understanding and addressing The Achievement Gap for undeserved inner-city students is something I thought about a lot growing up. Tutors for All bridges the achievement gap one student at a time. Through bringing together colleges, public schools, and community resources, we offer underserved students the systematic individualized instruction they need in order to thrive. I spent a year with Tutors for All during college working with over 30 underachieving, underprivileged students math on an individual basis. Any contribution will help Mark & team continue working towards closing the gap.
