If you did not know, we are going to Iceland for our honeymoon! We are thrilled! We will be spending some time in the capitol, Reykjavik, and then we are taking a camper van to travel the entirety of the island! We have already secured our flights and also the payment for the van, but we need some help preparing our budget for the gas prices in Iceland. Because Iceland is an island that imports everything, gas prices run around $7.50 per gallon, something that adds up over time. Iceland is an island full of fascinating dishes of food, namely skyr (fresh, Iceland yogurt), pylsur (delicious, Icelandic hot dogs), lamb, ice cream and cheese, seafood, fresh rye bread and butter, and even fermented shark (yes, you heard that right! Ryan will probably be the only one to try that one...). We are also planning on cooking in our camper van, so we will be shopping at grocery stores and bringing some "just add water" meals from the states to cook in our camper van too. With all of this in mind, we would love to have some financial support as we budget out our food for the trip. We are huge foodies, and we are so excited for this culinary experience.
