For the first 4 nights of our trip, we will be staying in the heart of Tokyo so we can visit different areas such as Akihabara, Harajuku, and Shibuya!

One of our biggest splurges is a 1 night stay at a private onsen hotel. Here we will have access to our own private hot spring, which is very necessary since Ethan's tattoos don't allow us to visit any of the public hot springs in this village :(

One of our stops is in Osaka where they are known for their food, shopping, and close proximity to Nara, a beautiful town known for their deer park and nature.

The JR Rail Pass is a special train pass that lets us travel across Japan on most shinkansen (bullet trains) and local trains—effortlessly and with unlimited rides for a set number of days.
