Kayleigh has spent her Sunday evenings volunteering at Heartland since February 2024. Her favorite animals are two roosters named Leif and Gunnar (pictured), but Percy the pig is a close third. Heartland provides high-quality, specialized care to rescued farm animals, offers inclusive humane education programs for learners of all ages, and provides accesible experiential therapy.
