We're hoping to kick off our road-trip honeymoon with a bang at the only 3-star Michelin restaurant in the South, the Inn at Little Washington. It's an expensive dinner, so any amount helps.

For our honeymoon we will be roadtripping from DC to Hilton Head Island, SC, where we got engaged two years ago. We hope to make many stops along the way to enjoy the fantastic cuisine, culture and natural beauty of the South. We've listed some planned stops along the way, this general fund will go to any of those stops and gas money!

We chose to do a roadtrip honeymoon so we could bring our beloved pup Juniper with us. This fund will help us pay pet fees at hotels along the way, as well as a stay at Southpaw Pet Resort in Hilton Head.

Wine Loves Chocolate is a charming little boutique chocolatier/ wine tasting room in Washington, VA.

After dinner at the Inn at Little Washington, we'll be staying at an adorable, dog-friendly B&B

Get our Monday off to a good start with pastries and coffee from the Inn at Little Washington's sister restaurant.

Pay four our entry fee into Shenandoah National Park, where we'll spend the day leisurely heading south on Skyline Drive and taking Juniper on several hikes.

After a long day of hiking, we (including Juniper) will refuel on the patio at The Green Goat in Roanoke

On Tuesday our drive brings us through the Barbecue capital of North Carolina, Lexington. Everybody seems to have an opinion about who has the best barbecue in town, and we're going to find out for ourselves.

We'll end our evening in Charlotte with a nightcap at the very romantic Rosie's Coffee and Wine Garden

We'll swing by Charlotte's Sunflour Bakery for breakfast sandwiches before hitting the road

Between Charlotte and Charleston we'll continue our Carolina BBQ quest at Columbia, SC's favorite whole-hog joint The War Mouth

On our first afternoon in Charleston, we'll take a stroll down historic King Street, grab Juniper a treat at Woof Gang Bakery, then stop into the Historic City Market for a little souvenir shopping.

Our first dinner in Charleston will be at the oldest restaurant in South Carolina, Henry's. If the weather's nice we'll enjoy our shrimp and grits on the rooftop with Juniper.

While Juniper rests at the hotel we'll end our first night in Charleston at the drag show!

After wearing Juniper out at the dog park, we'll leave them to rest and head to a romantic 8-course dinner at Charleston's Honeysuckle Rose

Day 2 in Charleston we're going to get tacos on the patio at Taco Boy, then take Juniper to Hampton Park to run off the calories
