"Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, 'To your offspring I will give this land.' So, he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.” - Genesis 12:7 ESV. Colton pointed out to me that throughout this passage, Abraham is traveling and wherever he settles he builds an altar to the Lord. We don't know where we're going yet, but our prayer is wherever we settle we will build our altar for the Lord, that we may honor Him and bring Him glory in our home.

Proverbs 31: 15 "She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens." Because we don't know if we'll need our own furniture yet, we intend to buy it when we do have a place to put it.

Because we will be moving somewhere that's been pre-furnished, we won't need very much furniture just yet, but we will be in need of some after we purchase our first house! :)
