We are arriving a few days prior to the start of the cruise to enjoy Honolulu and have relaxing beach time before the crazy adventure begins!

The cruise provides overnights in both Maui and Kauai as well as visits to Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii. We’ll be on island time as we discover cascading waterfalls, active volcanos, black, green and white sand beaches, historic sites and unspoiled nature.

While food is included, fun beverages are not! Kurt and I will add on the Ultimate Beverage Package and enjoy a wide selection of soft drinks, beers, spirits, cocktails, wines and beer during our entire cruise.

We'll travel up to the crater rim at 10,000 feet arriving before daybreak to watch as the sun begins to rise, spreading a glow across the landscape. Then we'll take an exhilarating ride down the 21 switchbacks of this massive dormant volcano. Along the way there will be photo stops to capture our Maui moments.

We'll set off along the famed Hana Highway for a one hour ride to a botanical garden, then we'll begin hike into a great canyon lined with 30- and 50-foot waterfalls that plunge into deep pools. We will rappel over waterfalls, swim in the pools beneath the waterfalls and then hike a 300-foot ascent up a challenging jungle trail.

From dramatic black lava flows to lush rainforests and plunging waterfalls, we will experience the scenic majesty of Hawaii's natural landscape as we explore on foot. In Volcanoes National Park, we'll stride through a lava tube and trek down into a volcanic crater. The four-mile round-trip hike meanders through forests of trees turned to stone, and passes gaping, steaming fissures where lava once gushed over a thousand feet skyward.

The luau is an essential part of the Hawaiian experience, and the cultural extravaganza at the historic Kilohana Plantation is a feast for all the senses. While torches blaze, graceful hulas and energetic fire dances will entertain us, and the ancient sea voyages that brought the original Hawaiians to these islands from Polynesia will be brought to life in story and song. We will dine, drink and dance!

No visit to Hawaii would be complete without some fun in the surf. We'll get coaching on dry land at Poipu Beach before we paddle out to ride the waves.

We will relax and unwind with a couple's massage. Who knows, maybe Kurt will even get a pedicure! :)

This is our must do for us! It's a once in a lifetime adventure to experience Hawaii from above and marvel at all of the beautiful biodiversity it has to offer!

We'll be on a fast-paced adventure tour aboard a 24-foot Zodiac raft for an exciting shore-hugging ride along the Kona coast. We will have the change to sight the spinner dolphins, pilot whales, sea turtles, and manta rays that frequent these waters year-round.

We will visit the sharks three miles off Oahu’s beautiful North Shore in an enclosed tank underwater. It will be so thrilling and exciting!

During one of our days in Honolulu, we want to rent scooters and visit all of the main attractions on the island of Oahu. We've heard this is one of the best ways to see the island on our own terms.

In our room, we will enjoy Ile de France Brie, Goat and Camembert, Savoyard Reblochon, Italian Gorgonzola, English Cheddar, Swiss Emmenthal and Boursin. Served with Fresh Baked Breads, Lavosh and Accompaniments.
