New Zealand was originally part of our honeymoon plan, though we reconsidered when we realized how cold it would be around the time of our trip. Nonetheless, it will be a destination we visit at some point, especially after hearing about the glow worms that live there. Your contributions to this fund would help us book a boat ride through the Waitomo Caves to see the glow worms in person!

Every year, we try to visit Christmas Markets around the U.S. and now we want to expand our horizons to see how they do it in Europe!

Ashwin has only seen the Northern Lights through watching NOVA as a kid, so now we look forward to experiencing the real deal. This gift will go towards a cabin and flight way up north somewhere in Scandinavia where we will hopefully see plenty of the aurora borealis.

Samm has had a lifelong dream of scuba diving deep in the ocean among a plethora of aquatic wildlife, but Ashwin is deeply afraid of the ocean. As a result, we will compromise and stay close to the surface with some slightly less-scary snorkeling! This contribution will go towards flights, boats, and snorkeling gear.

Despite many trips to Mumbai and Pune, India, Ashwin looks forward to being a tourist in other parts of India, while Samm is excited to visit India for the first time! This contribution will go towards a hotel or bed and breakfast in Goa while we enjoy our shared love for the beach.

Sentosa has no shortage of fun activities, including Universal Studios, an Oceanarium, beaches, and cable cars. This contribution will go towards flights to Singapore, adventurous activities while there, and maybe even the famous Singapore Sling cocktail from the world-renowned Raffles Hotel.

Banff National Park is a place we have been wanting to visit for years. For this trip, we would likely fly into Montana to see Glacier National Park and then take a scenic drive through the Canadian Rockies.

An early contender for travel leading up to our wedding weekend, we have not forgotten the many exciting opportunities Costa Rica has to offer and would love to experience them some day.

Back when we lived in Chicago, we started going to different cocktail bars for special occasions. We love trying new drink combinations and are eager to try some of the world-renowned bars located in Mexico City. This fund will help us get there, and maybe cover a few rounds of drinks too!

While we probably (definitely) need to get in shape for this trek, the 4-day journey to Machu Picchu is a physical feat we aspire towards. Your contribution will go towards lodging while acclimatizing to the elevation in Cusco and the cost of the trail's tour operations.

Thai food is a staple in our household, though it is never actually made by us (thank you to all of the delicious restaurants that fuel our love for this cuisine). We hope to learn from the best with a trip to either Chiang Mai or Phuket. Your contributions will help us get there, book a class, and enjoy some crystal-clear beaches along the way!

Amidst months of back-to-back travel for work, Ashwin ventured out of his hotel room in Zimbabwe to go on his first ever horseback safari. Though Samm is slightly afraid of horses, this experience is one the couple would love to do together. Contributions here will help with travel to Tanzania, as well as any lodging that may be needed along the way.

Copenhagen has been on Samm's travel list since college, and Ashwin simply cannot pass up a bike-friendly city. Any contributions to this fun will go toward flights and lodging (and maybe international health insurance in case we can't keep up with the expert bikers).
