Since we are already bringing lots of things to the wedding, we have decided to rent gear instead of bringing our own. This package from REI includes everything we need to enjoy the great outdoors!

We used to use an automatic pet feeder for the cats until our last one broke. This time, we've found a set we think will work for both the cats and Miles!

Our cat, Basil, loves running water and has been upset since our last water fountain broke! We figured it was time for a replacement so that he stops pushing the bowl around to get that "fresh water flow"!

We need a map to not get lost!

We will be car-camping in Yosemite for three nights!

We goofed and forgot to make campground reservations for Yosemite. They have first come, first served sites but you must arrive early! This means we will need to stay in the area the night before.

We will be leaving Miles with a local Rover sitter, and someone from our town will come by to check on the cats every other day!

Mary is a long-time fan of Alice Waters, a champion for food justice and farm-to-table, yet hasn't had a chance to try her Bay Area restaurant, Chez Panisse! We both love to eat and thought this would be a great experience to share together.

We have a fairly well-stocked kitchen but our flatware needs an upgrade!
