Aimee was born with a life-threatening disease known as Sickle Cell Disease. This genetic disease causes a malformation of the red blood cells, which lead to constant pain and hospital visits. In 2020, She under went a stem-cell transplant with essentially cured her from the sickle cell. During the transplant, she had to get chemotherapy without the ability to be able to freeze her eggs. Our family is already perfect, but we would love to be able to give Zoey a sibling down the line.
