We just love the animals and colors that make their way onto these beautiful ceramics from blackbird studios. Last summer on our road trip through Canada we stumbled upon a few of these mugs in the Aube collection.

While renovating our kitchen we discovered Barn Light Electric & fell in love with their work. Our living room lighting is a little dismal, and we think this floor lamp will shed the light we need on our reading nook.

In Japan camping in a van is called Freedom Camping! We want to travel around northern Japan in a van for our honeymoon, stopping to ski, soak in Onsens, and have mobil lodging everywhere we want to go.

Throughout Japan there are cozy hostel like hotels often with Onsens (hot springs) and on site dining. When it's snowing like mad or we are in a hectic town with few parking options we will want to head in doors for a night, and these Ryokans seem like the perfect refuge.
