Sky Island Alliance is a regional conservation nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring the diversity of life and lands in the Sky Islands of the U.S. and Mexico. The Sky Island region is comprised of 55 mountain ranges rising out of arid grasslands and desert that provide critical habitat for plants and wildlife. They’re doing amazing work on both sides of the border to stop the border wall, restore and manage open space and clean water, work with communities.

This has become a staple in our household, and we bring some back from every trip to TN.

Hands down, one of Rowena's favorite stores. Eric has promised to come on a backpacking trip with Rowena one of these days! We have our eyes on the Sawyer 2 L gravity filter, skis, new light sleeping pads a tent to replace Ro's infamous "bivvy"... there is no limit to the possibilities or the appreciation.

It's so easy to go "overboard" on this registry (:-p), so we tried to pick experiences that would be truly meaningful. We are both so excited to experience the amazing wildlife and marine ecosystems of costa Rica and Panama. This experience is the perfect way to dive in!

This is Rowena's idea of a perfect day. Seriously, worth it just to see the look on Eric's face when he clips into a zip line or starts to rappel. Talk about taking the plunge!!!
