We're going to take a little mini trip just to get away for a couple of days soon after the wedding, but we're saving for our dream vacation in New Zealand sometime between January and June of 2015. Our dear friends Jocelyn and Manuel are going to be living there for 6 months and have generously invited us to come visit. We just need plane tickets (not cheap) and spending money. And for Robyn to get over her fear of 13 hour flights! Other than the Caribbean, this will be the first time for both of us to travel outside the U.S. and we're ridiculously excited. New Zealand is an amazing country-- beautiful beaches, incredible mountains (think Lord of the Rings scenery), wineries, an interesting food scene, and tons of adventure opportunities. We can't wait!

We already have most of the things that we need for our life together, so we didn't register for a lot here. However, we do really need to make some home improvements-- of course, all DIY (that's our style), but we still need stuff like paint, drywall, tile, etc. Our plan is to add a guest bathroom, renovate the master bath, paint the kitchen cabinets, re-do the countertops, put in a backsplash, and paint the upstairs. Wish us luck!
