In Uganda, it is common to purchase land and build your own home, bringing your unique touch to the design. Since we will be living in Uganda and already have many of the items needed for our future home, in lieu of bringing a gift, we ask that you contribute to building our permanent home. The money will go towards purchasing a large piece of land and construction of our home which will include space for a garden.

Small farm and garden? Yes, please! Richard has a green thumb and enjoys farming while Nikki loves cooking with the freshest ingredients. So, we plan to have a small farm and herb garden for our home. Of course, we'll need to purchase supplies and seeds. In lieu of bringing a gift we ask that you help us save for the supplies and seeds we will need.

We love our families and, with Nikki moving to Uganda, we want to make sure we can visit hers regularly. Will you help us launch our travel savings funds to regularly visit Nikki's family in America?

Since Nikki will be moving to Uganda after we wed, she will be bringing a select number of items with her which will need to be shipped. Along with kitchen essentials (i.e. dishes, cooking supplies, etc.) and some light furniture, being the avid reader that she is, Nikki hopes to bring her book collection for our library which will be available for our future children & their friends to enjoy. Books are not the easiest to come by in Uganda, but we'd love to share what we have.

Since we'll be building our home and renting an unfurnished house while we wait, we'll need to purchase furniture to fill our temporary home, which will later be moved into our permanent home. In lieu of a housewarming gift, help us build up the funds we need in order to purchase home furnishings.
