All of us have experienceddelayed and changed plans this year due to COVID-19. One of the most dreaded parts of this pandemic is that our loved ones cannot join us in person for our wedding day. We both know that all of you are wishing us nothing but wedded bliss and joy, but it is still bittersweet to celebrate without you. However, knowing that many of you are as excited as we are about our union makes us smile from ear to ear. So thank you for your well wishes.Many of you have been very generous and sweetly asking whatyou can get us for our wedding. We both feel that there is no need for anyone to extend such a nice gesture. However, we understand that wedding gifts are something we can cherish from loved ones for our entire lives. We thought long and hard about what we could need and what we most would like for our wedding. Our honeymoon fund came to mind because we planned to take a trip that never happened due to the pandemic. The trip in which Richard had planned to romantically propose on the beach, with the ocean waves providing the perfect sweet harmony and the sweet scent of plumeria flowers surrounding us during sunset. Deep down, Richard is quite the romantic.Instead, we were hit with the pandemic, and he came up with Plan B., Which Kelly was just as happy with as she was engaged to be married to the man she loved. To both of us - this is all that matters.In the future, we would like to take the romantic trip Richard planned for us, and instead of making it the proposal trip, we can celebrate our marriage.
